(Draught at Zly Casy, Prague, 19 July 2014) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with notes of crisp-bread, orange peel and rye bread. Malty, slightly roasted taste with toast, rye bread, orange peel and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Well made and tasty. Nice one.

Tap at U Slovanské Lípy, Prague. Poured a hazy medium to light amber with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is banana citrus. The flavour is medium sweet with a fruit malt light bitter hop palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Sklep pub. Aroma very mild, traditional czech caramel-coffee mix. Clear very dark colour. Stable beige head. Taste is moderately bitter with moderate astringent sourness. Too strong roasted character with almost no caramel/sweetness. Very poor, almost undrinkable.

Tap at RJ. Aroma light caramel, but mostly DMS. Standard Chyne vegetal. Clear golden colour, stable head. Taste is initially honeyish, but after a moment vegetables kick you in the head. Just sad, I resign.

Tap at RJ. Aroma toasted malt, honey. Lightly hazy orange colour. Head of shorter to moderate duration. Taste has moderate hoppy bitterness right from beginning. Moderate honey flavour. Light hops flavour, grassy/herbal. Hoppy bitter finish, moderate duration. Some clean grainy maltiness too. Carbonation is moderate to high. Quite refreshing. Not your typical pilsner, but good and interesting. Slightly lower drinkability.
