Lahev( Diky do Brna!): Cloudy, deep golden, stable mid-sized off-white head; mild bready and honeyish nose, some spicy hops detectable, but also slight traces of infection; moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, soft MF; a little acidity is still present in the bitter-sweet and hoppy finish. Quite O.K., unfortunately a bit infected…

Bottle(Diky, Marko!): Golden, hazy, big loose off-white head; pale malt, hops and a turpentine-like fruitiness (necrotic yeast?) in the nose; moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, pretty soft; lingering dry bitter hoppy finish with a mild grainy counterpart. A bit yeasty, but all in all pleasant…

On tap at 2+KK, Prague, as Chýně Polotmavé Nefiltrované 12°. Went to this venue for dinner, as a part of my choir’s (AZ FFZG Concordia discors) Praha Cantat 2014 performance, ran into an unexpectedly fine beer selection. This one was a no brainer as soon as I saw it on tap. Murky brown amber body with an off white head. Smooth, creamy aroma, caramel, vague, fine toastiness, lovely maltiness in general. The taste develops a mild malty background, giving off vague coffee, countered with a herbal hop foreground - a remarkably well hopped polotmavé.
