# 358; 7/2016. Nepřekvapivě výrazně kukuřičné, bohužel ale i výrazně zeleninové, nedobré, slizské pivo. Nepovedené.

Bottle(Diky, Marko!): Golden, hazy, big loose off-white head; pale malt, hops and a turpentine-like fruitiness (necrotic yeast?) in the nose; moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, pretty soft; lingering dry bitter hoppy finish with a mild grainy counterpart. A bit yeasty, but all in all pleasant…

(Draught at Zly Casy, Prague, 19 July 2013) Pale yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, toffee and vanilla. Malty taste with bread, hay, vanilla and a gentle bitterness in the finish. Light body, with balanced sweetness. Hardly exciting, but quite decent.

On tap at Klub Malých Pivovarů, Plzen. What to make of this? It’s a corn beer... Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of butter, butter candy (botersnoepjes), buttered corn, even some rancid butter. Flavour is corn, medium-sweet, butter, light bitter malty and light hoppy, dirty corny finish. Light-bodied, smooth, but not enjoyable.

Draught at Pivovarsky Klub as Manila Kukuřičné. Mild buttery aroma, perhaps it is just maltiness. Hazy pale yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour has some paper, OK maltiness. Good breadiness. Grassy hoppiness, mild but OK.

on tap at Zly Casy beer festival. Hazy pale yellow colour, large white head. Medium-bodied, malty-sweet with clear flavours of sweetcorn. Not as sweet as other beers with corn I’ve tasted, the sweetcorn is very well integrated into the beer which makes it a real pleasure to drink. A nice summer beer.
