RBESG 2006 Grand Tasting, as Krajan Irlandzkie Mocne. ABV is 6.5%, malt content is 14%. Malty sweet aroma and flavour, bready and pastry notes. Okay, but too sweet and one-dimensional to make me excited.

RBESG 2006, Grand Tasting. ABV is 9%. Dark reddish brown colour, moderate tan head. Lovely vinous sweet aroma, plenty of oak, chocolate and a moderate roastiness. Flavour is malty and moderately roasty with rye bread and chocolate notes. Another good Polish (Baltic) porter.

(Sampled as K. Irlandzkie Mocne). Fully opaque black beer; cream-brown coloured small head. Licorice, sweet, "drop", sweet but dark malts, "Pumpernickel" bread. Very sweet taste, typically Dutch drop (=sweets made with licorice juice) flavour. At odds with the rest - but the drop-juice - quite watery feeling. There’s even a texture as from suspended stomach coal. Watery, sweet, tastes like something for children, even at 6% they claim, the alcohol is hidden. IRLANDZKIE??? My Gaelic *s-sorry.
