Can 500ml (AIH147) Clear golden colour, good white head and lace. Aroma has sweet malts, some grass and metal. Light-bodied. Watery. Sweet malts, grapes, metal and hints of diacetyl. Very industrial, yak.

Burk från SB. Gyllengul, klar med hög vit krona. Mjuk och rund, åt det sötare hållet, nästan lite karamellig, låg beska. Lättdrucket och saknar inbyggd broms. Men ack så trevligt.

Gyllengul vätska med vitt och tunt skumlock. Degig och sädig i aromen. Lättsam men något söt smak. Saknar den där rena neutrala beskan. Nu stupar det på karamellig, nästan godislikt insmickrande eftersmak.

Woof. Authentic Czech pils does not mean good Czech pils. Notes of sweet corn, bread, apple, and yeast, with a floral-mineral bitterness and a watery, dry fade. The components are there, but everything seems out of whack: the fruitiness is too pronounced, the bitterness too medicinal, the crispness too fleeting. Rough stuff.
