Bottle bought at Pivo, London. Aroma has malts, caramel and a touch of sourness. Clear dark amber. Foamy white head. Light bitter, sweet caramel with a saccharine streak. A touch of restrained spice. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Verging on creamy. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long slightly astringent. It's OK - just a tad too sweet for my taste.

Bottle from Billa (batch 49-51) on the main square. Clear golden body, white head, nice. Grainy, sweetish aroma, light sickly herbal touch. Sweetish malty taste, grainy, a bit cleaner than the others, if there's hops, there's just traces of this. Not bad really, but can't see myself enjoying this that much - it's just maybe a bit fresher than the 10° and the 11° I'd had today.

Can from ENAPO Líšeň I think. Batch 5-7. Full golden body, white head. Grainy malty aroma, slightly husky, Taste... some soft husky-grainy maltiness, mild herbal hoppiness, and some weak bitterness. Yeah, I guess this counts as bitter for this brewery, though I wouldn't guess more than 25 IBUs. Not digging the maltiness in this one, there is trace diacetyl in there too, and it definitely could use a few more IBUs of hoppiness, but not their worst beer-

Bottle (batch 20-22... getting a bit old?) from the basement Billa in the Brno main square. Slightly darker golden-amber body, white head - going fast. Interesting aroma, grainy notes, light popcorn but also this citric, weird orange candy maybe sweetish undertone. Well, hello hop, you are defintely being used. This herbal-sweetish citrus touch is there, popping up from a dry, slightly caramelly, slightly bready maltiness, light grainy touch to counter it, mildly sweetish finish, no bitterness. Definitely Moravian-style in its refusal to put any counter to the maltiness, despite the extra-hopped claim. Still, can't say there isn't an interesting little hop profile (really wonder what they use) down there. Will rerate fresh hopefully - while the graininess keeps the score slightly down, I can see this getting a higher score when it's not 2 months to its BB date.

Bottle from a ENAPO store in Líšeň. Batch 110-112 it says. Yay. Maybe in 2020? Amber body, this is pretty much more of a polotmavé than a pale lager in appearance, whiteish head. Caramelly and lightly buttery aroma. Taste... dull lightly caramelly malty taste, lightly stale, husky, maybe vague herbal touches, but might be imagining it, definitely skimped on hops here to cut costs. Not disgusting, drinkable, but obviously low quality. You get what you pay for.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours clear honey-gold with a modest, creamy white head. Light-medium sweet with pleasant sun-kissed biscuity character, a little grain and cereal, grass, straw. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Fairly clean finish, lightly grassy and herbal, restrained biscuity sweetness. Very drinkable.
