Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced via HOTM. Pours clear rich gold with a frothy, pure white head. Lightly sweet with ample husky grains, grassy bitterness, sun-kissed pale biscuits, straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Decent balance in the finish, more husky and grassy bitterness, pale bread, dry biscuits. Good stuff overall.

500ml bottle, online from Trembling Madness, York. Pours clear copper amber with a decent beige head. Aroma: bread, caramel, light herbal. Taste: Light sweet & moderate to heavy bitter, caramel, a little vegetal, and an unpleasant metallic note in there too. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours clear honey-gold with a frothy, white head. Lightly sweet, bready, a little dough and yeast, biscuits, subtle butter hay. Light bodied with delicate carbonation. Pretty clean finish, more doughy biscuits, yeast, soft bitterness. Basic but pretty darn drinkable.

Bottle, thanks Motelpogo for sharing! So women get a pretty simple, solid marzipan lager that kinda works. What do men get... Hm, deep golden body, white head.... And... oh no... men get oxidation. Staaale maltiness, clear effects of oxidation, and then there's some touches of marzipan. Stale malty taste with traces of herbal hoppiness and almond. Dry hopped? Maybe with a gram per liter, or this is just ancient. If the lips of a woman you love taste like this, she might need an intervention...

Bottle, huge thanks Motelpogo! Golden body, off white head. Huge marzipan notes in the aroma, towering over fairly okay integrated maltiness. Sweetish, yet fairly dry taste, tons of marzipan, saving what, from the few notes coming out from below it, was a sligthly stale maltiness. Good , soft body. Saved by the flavoring really, but it works surprisingly well. A bit higher rated than it should be because I absolutely love marzipan - but if you hate it... stay well away, it's the only highlight of the beer.

Bottle from House of Trembling Madness. It pours clear yellow - gold with a thick fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, doughy, some sweetness, bready malts, cereal, grass and spice. The taste is crisp, dry, clean, snappy, light bitterness, grassy, herbal almost, some cereal, spicy, bread, hay, biscuit and a touch of underlying sweetness. Finishes up crisp and dry. Average body and moderate+ carbonation. All comes together rather well. Good chugger.
