Tap at Axiom bar. Pretty standard mass market lager fare. Thin body, moderate carbonation. Slightly metallic, grainy malty edge, dull hops character, light grassy-earthy. Rather bitter, relatively easy drinking. Lawn-mower beer, not less, not more. Okay.

Ein neues Bier aus Břeclav, das ich in Prag gekauft hatte und über die Bahnstrecke mitbrachte, welche auch durch die Grenzstadt Břeclav nach Hause ging. Geschmacklich kann es mich nicht besonders erfreuen. Es hat einen komischen Geschmack nach Marzipan und -naja- Mandeln. Der Name ist schon mal korrekt. Aber von einer Harmonie der Aromen, welcher es viele gibt, bin ich enttäuscht. Die Bitterkeit des Hopfen ist zwar intensiv, vor allem im Abgang, aber es kommt kein feines Gesamtbild rüber. Auch halte ich Mandeln nicht unbedingt als Aroma für ein Bier allzu sinnvoll. Aber vielleicht ist das ja wirklich beliebt.

# 2192; 8/2020. Aroma of marzipan. Brilliant gold body, white head. Malty with strange bitterness, floral, hazelnut. Weird beer similar to czech rum - tuzemák... Any flavored headache maker... 0,5 l, bottle, supermarket, Prague.

(bottle 0,5l) Overall: Ok, strong almond flavoured. Aroma: Strong almond nut. Appearance: Clear golden. Minimal, white head. Taste: Strong almond nut, light sweet, malty, light bitter, light herbal. Palate: Medium body. Astringent finish.

Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him and hrabren. Golden coloured, medium sized white head, light phenols and almond in the nose. The taste; some almond and glue with notes of marzipan and dry sweetish finish.

0.5 l bottle brought by Marko from Prague, shared with Ogi and him. Huge thanks! Clear golden, small off-white head. Intense glue, marzipan, almonds. Light grass, light grain. Almond nicely present, herbs, leaves, earth, nuts. Some sweetness, finishes dry. Light body, good drinkability, moderate carbonation, light finish. Not bad.

Bottlw from Billa DBK, Prague, shared with Ogi & H in Zagreb. Full amber body, off white head, gone soon. Huge aroma, perfumy, both marzipan and almond peel, grainy. Light body almost empty, dry bready maltiness and some perfumey marzipan. Mild bitter finish. Vague veggie off in the finish, but otherwise clean. Dunno, surprisingly dry and some notes, but worth only as a curiosity.
