16 oz can generously given to me by Jack. The pour is a clear copper golden with a smaller light tan head. The aroma is cracker grain malt, soft toast, and a touch of herbal. The taste is clean malt, the cracker, grain and toast of the nose, chewy, finishing with a soft floral sweetness and the herbal. The palate is medium bodied with soft natural carbonation and the floral herbal finish. Dry and easy drinking. Nice Dunkel, thanks Jack.

Sweetish, spicy and roasty with some cocoa, chocolate sauce, cinnamon, earthiness and vanilla, hints of barrel. Mole sauce.

Massive coconut up front. Lots of chocolate, not super thick, slightly oily. On the mouth, there’s flaked coconut dipped in chocolate with sea salt and a hint of pistachio. Touch of spice from the barrel.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has citrus and pine with a hint of mango and sweet grains backing. Flavor has pine and dank citrus with a touch of grapefruit and sweet grains growing.
