Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy light gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice tequila note with lime, a bit of wheat and a touch of salt. Flavor has a decent amount of honey with lime and salt as well as a tequila kick in the finish.

Cask at Town Hall Brewpub. Pour a deep reddish brown with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of slightly bitter chocolate with some dark grains and a hint of spice. Flavor has more of a bitter chocolate note with some sweet dark grains and a bit of spice.

On tap at Red Cow North Loop. Pours a golden orange with a white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has a decent amount of grassy hops with light grains and a bit of lager yeast. Flavor is more hop forward with grass and pine that grows and just a touch of lager yeast.

On tap at Stub & Herbs. Pours a clear yellow with a touch of gold and a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has note of bread and cookie with a decent amount of earthy honey. Flavor is similar with sweet grains and and earthy honey underlying.

On tap at Northbound. Pours a clear deep amber an earthy brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of pepper with a touch of heat and roasted malts and dark roasted underlying. Flavor has same strong peppers that only have a touch of heat with a back bone of dark grain and light roast.

Sampled at Happy Gnome. Pours a clear gold with a touch of orange and a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has some red fruit and white wine with some sweetness and a bit of funk. Flavor has dry wine up front with growing sweet fruits and a bit of dry funk in the finish.

Bottle shared at Dean’s off for his annual haircut tasting. Pours near black with a thick dark beige head. Aroma of vanilla, wood, boozy rum and woody barrel notes, molasses, dark chocolate, spicy notes, roast and a little soy. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Big malty backbone. Near full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle - thanks Bvery! Pours clear reddish chestnut, medium creamy tan head, dissipates slowly, good lacing. Aroma is coffee, ashtray, roasty malt, cardboard. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, coffee and cigarettes, a bit stale. Lightish body, a bit of acidity and high carbonation. Not bad.
