On tap at Brewers Cooperative. Pours orange. Peach, sherbet, biscuit, toffee, bit of acidity. Quite malty for a pilsner... Not much fresh hop either.

Pitch black color. Light brown head. Dark chocolate, licorice, molasses and dark fruit in the nose. Great depth. Mouth lacks acidity, but is pungent with hops and deep rich malt character, molasses, cotton candy, tons and tons of dark fruit, sherry, cotton candy and truffles. Seriously outstanding palate, but lacks a lot of roasted character. Seriously seems like barrel aged, there is so much going on here. This beer is ripe for barrel aging. Lingering dark chocolate, truffles, dark fruit and cherries in the finish. Insane complexity.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is yeast, light zesty citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a citrus, resin hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I’m quite surprised at the relatively low ratings. This tap version certainly deserves a higher score. It’s not your ordinary lager.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark amber with.a broken frothy off white head and some broken lace. The aroma is, yeast, ripe citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet and a hint of yeasty sourness with a dry, big fruit wood resin hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a light bubbly mouthfeel. I wasn’t so impressed initially but it grew on me a little.
