Cask at Pave, Hull. Last Thursday but had to do some detective work to identify it. Aroma has low key lats with a slightly tangy edge. Flavourwise it's quite bland with floating malts amd a citrus edge. Flavourwise is equally nondescript. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Unexciting.

Hanson the band were quite blonde when they came on the scene. This blonde has a very stewed fruitiness on this drinking occasion, probably on the turn if pushed for a definitive rate. It still looks the part even if it doesn't taste it. Lots of drab lemon in aroma and taste.

Served by a very enthusiastic bar steward who was happy to see me return to this pub for the second time in the day. Mainly because it has more new ticks and being closest to the train station. Hazy golden with a thick head, creamy textured light tropical fruit notes in both aroma and taste. Very good mouthfeel.

Not sure what FKR stands for here, in South Africa it's Formula Kart Racing. Well carbonated lager creating a bubbly-frothy head. Nothing too stated but nothing overly ordinary either, it has a bit of character, mainly through mild lemon in both aroma and taste.

I heard a 50+ stranger whilst drinking this one claiming his normal night out costs him £150 nowadays. This one was £4.80 a pint in the same pub so roughly works out at 32 pints! Bready malty bitter with a mid bitterness. Mildly sweet with a copper-amber appearance.
