19.2 oz Can from Bin 22. Dark amber, ring of tan head. Malty, caramel aroma with hints f I’m the barrels. Taste adds some raisin, slight accents from each of the different barrels. Still a damn good Doppelbock, gets boozy late. Lots of small notes adds up to a complex whole.

Can - Lots of woody notes and tequila aromatic herbal notes. Cloudy dark brown. Toffee and tequila with a long rich cocoa, tamarind and light herbal note. Very odd and I don’t mind it, but don’t quite get it either.

Dark amber, with no head. There’s some sticky toffee pudding on the nose...quite rich, with agave and spice. Sweet, figs, some woody tequila notes, it’s rich and soft. The alcohol realy stays out of the way. There’s balance here.

19.2 oz. can, pours a dirty deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Nose brings out complex tequila barrels upfront, followed by light caramel malt and a touch of dark fruit. Flavour is decadent, with a great tequila barrel character upfront, followed by caramel malts, a touch of dark fruits and booze. For a nearly 15% beer, this isn't too hot. Excellent stuff.

From my Howler.
Pours a clear copper with an inch of foam.
Aromas of Belgian yeast and spices. Coriander, cloves. Oh and the Pinot shines through as well.
Tasting as great as it smells. The Pinot barrel works so well with the base Saison. Smooth yet vibrant. Easy drinking yet complex.

Pours black with lots of tan foam.
I smell cocoa, coffee with little of any barrel.
Coffee and cocoa strong, some vanilla and some woody notes from the Rye whiskey barrel aging. Full mouthfeel adds a nice creaminess.
Canned April 20th. Big props to Upslope.

Pours a dark orange, not quite clear, excellent head of long lasting foam, sticky lacing.
Dank grapefruit citrus and tropical fruits rising from my glass, permeating my nose buds.
Grapefruit and lemon citrus smacks my taste buds, pretty dank, mango sneaks in, fairly strong cracker malt throughout.
Slick and juicy mouthfeel, very drinkable. Another winner from Upslope!

I get roasted malt, sweet caramel, mild bitterness and even milder peanut butter. What’s up with that?
The taste doesn’t amplify the flavourful of peanut butter at all and that’s dissapointing. What is there is more of a typical Porter. Roasted malt with a balance of sweet and bitter. Smooth creamy body. Kick the PB up a notch or 3, Upslope!

Sampled at CBC 2017 pours a clear, dark gold with some spitty, white head. Nose has orange, malt, yeast, grass. Flavor is orange, biscuit, grass, lemon. Finishes a little oily.
