440ml can. Pours a very dark brown with a thin tan head, disappearing quickly. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, molasses, toffee. Taste is sweet, chocolate, toffee, creamy vanilla, molasses, hints of roast malts but low bitterness. Medium bodied.
On the sweet side for a porter, wish it had a bit more bitterness for balance; it is rather delicious though.

440ml can from Left Field Beer, Solihull and shared in Kuala Lumpur. Poured almost black in colour with a thin, broken, off-white head. The aroma is roasty, herbal. The flavour is over moderate sweet, with a big, rich, roasty, earthy, herbal, light tonka, dry coffee, liquorice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Can ordered from Elusive. Opaque dark amber. Thick foamy white head. Aroma has citrus and light resin combined with caramel and rye. Flavourwise it's tangy - citrusy sourness, rye spice. No caramel sweetness which the aroma had hinted would be present. Definitely a US hopped Red. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Nice.
