Description
First brewed in January 2021 with a few earlier beers being produced at Glen Affric Brewery Limited.

Amity Brew Co stands for community, friendship and good beer. We make fresh, modern interpretations of classic beer styles, as well as experimenting with what’s new.

Our brewery and taproom opened in December 2020 despite the pandemic, we can currently only welcome you on Fridays and Saturdays and for takeaway beer only but we hope that will change very soon.

We are a group of friends who met on the craft beer scene, but having worked in the UK’s best breweries and beer retailers, you could say we know our stuff.

A murky and light yellow beer, a head is very big and blond. Aroma has fruitness, but it's messy, some chalk. Taste has the same messy fruitess. Almost medium bodied. Disappointment.

Smell of apricot. Opaque grey/yellow colour, small white head. Aroma of stone fruit, some hops, oat, citrus. Foamy carbon. Medium bitter.

On tap at Pien Shop, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has soft marshmallow upfront, toasted malt, and a touch of vanillin. Flavour is rather thin and lacking depth, with toasted marshmallow, vanilla, and a very weak malt base. There’s really just nothing of value here. Finishes oddly harsh in bitterness and alcohol. Pretty lame.

Can. Near clear gold beer, small and short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light bodied pale malts, a decent creamy sweetness, some grain in there. Soft pine hops. A mellow hop spice. Soft ripeish citrus. A little peel richness. Soft stone fruits. Light finish. Alright. Nothing special.
