Description
First brewed in January 2021 with a few earlier beers being produced at Glen Affric Brewery Limited.
Amity Brew Co stands for community, friendship and good beer. We make fresh, modern interpretations of classic beer styles, as well as experimenting with what’s new.
Our brewery and taproom opened in December 2020 despite the pandemic, we can currently only welcome you on Fridays and Saturdays and for takeaway beer only but we hope that will change very soon.
We are a group of friends who met on the craft beer scene, but having worked in the UK’s best breweries and beer retailers, you could say we know our stuff.

330ml can via my son's Beer52 subscription: BB 17th Mar 2022. Drank at home on 4th Aug 2021. Hazy golden body, decent white head. Citrus front to both the aroma and taste, lemons, limes and grapefruit like esters and flavours with a hidden sweetness from somewhere. A bit 'thin' body wise.

440ml can: BBE Apr 2022. Drank at my parents on 25th Jun 2021, part of my brother's Beer52 selection. Slight haze to the golden orange body, thin white head. The nose held a hop aroma, both citrusy and piney, the taste also hop forward. Mild malty backdrop in the flavour. Decent.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A hazy pale amber pour with a billowing white head; citrus and pineapple aroma; quite thin in the mouth with a tropical fruit taste; then a gentle, but nicely building, resinous finish. Refreshing.

Can from Beer 52. At first this has an aroma of bran flakes, but later it settles down to more mainstream citrus. Pours a cloudy, almost murky, pale straw with plentiful white head.. The mouthfeel can vary. If you’re lucky it’s sweet and malty. If you’re unlucky it’s strongly mango and bitter lemon – yuck ! Unfortunately the bitter lemon wins out in the finish. Not my find of beer at all – I was tempted to pour it down the drain …
