Bottle during RBWG hotel lobby tasting night 1, 19/02/15 thanks to whomever supplied this one. Murky orange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is spice, toffee, liquorice, menthol notes - weird aromas here! Taste comprises toffee, musty notes, spice, woody, bitter fruit rinds, spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not good, harsh and mixed up.

22oz bottle gushed and then poured a thick black with some creamy, tan head. Nose has smoked malt, sausage fat, molasses, maple, toast. Flavor has a distracting level of carbonation, but when it settles the maple and smoke play well together, malt, molasses, toast, chocolate. Too much carb. Not infected, just over carbed I think.

Draft at Spacebar. 10oz gobblet pour. Poured a cloudy pale yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was light banana, cloves, honey notes. Flavor was clove, banana. Pepper notes. Light fruits.

Sewery smell with coriander and banana notes struggling to break through. Milky yellow, thin head. Banana is more in the forefront on the palate, but fecal notes remain. Finishes with lemon and coriander. Light body, spritzy, harsh. A witbierish hefeweizen, I’ve had another beer like this recently. I hope it isn’t a trend. A bit disappointing since I thoroughly enjoyed this brewer’s weizen bock.
