An orange beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet malty and so is the flavor, but the body is thin.

Überdurchschnittliches Bier. Hat irgendwas an sich was es ziemlich lecker macht...Der Nachgeschmack verebbt leider etwas zu schnell, nicht allzu süffig. Test vom 12.9.2004, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,9,6,7,11,11 - 9,15

Dark amber colour. It says it’s an IPA, but it’s not. It’s just a boring, sweet amber with a hint of earthiness. Stupid haus der 131 beer - all their stuff sucks.

Sampled draught at East End Brewery, Hong Kong Island.
Cloudy pale golden. Grass and metal dominates the nose. Sweet and lightly malty with medium body and clean, hard mouthfeel. There are some tangy hops, and it feels kind of ambitious, but fails to deliver.

Sampled draught at East End Brewery, Hong Kong Island.
Amber colour, small head. Fruity and medium bodied with bold, clean mouthfeel. The malt profile is quite rich, but also simple, and there is a lightly hoppy finish.

Sampled draught at East End Brewery, Hong Kong Island.
Copper colour. Light grapefruit aroma. Hard, clean crystal malt character. Citric hoppiness dominates the finish. A welcome break among the incredible blandness of beers available in HongKong, but still prototypic and one-dimensional.

Bottled. Distributed in Europe by Haus der 131 Biere in Hamburg, which means that you can't trust the origin of it. At least in this case the stated brewery seem to exist in reality, but I'm not 100% sure this beer is not in reality brewed somewhere else. Anyway, the comes across mahogany coloured with some caramel aroma. Sweet and clean with an awful extract homebrew-like malt character. A hint of caraway and then an empty finsih with out a trace of hops or bitterness.

Dark amber color. Smells bad; tastes like washing water and it's anything but not an IPA!

Bottled. Pale golden, not much head. Aroma of apples and wild yeast. Sweet, flowery and medium bodied. A low bitterness covered in massive sourish yeast flavour makes you want to forget this beer's finish as soon as possible.
