Bottled at Delirium, Gothenburg. Dark brown, almost black in color. The head is nice and lasting, beige to tan-colored. Weak aroma with sweetness, caramel, roasted notes and some fruits, mostly apples. Caramel, sugar, roasted malt and fruits in the flavor. Quite carbonating in the mouth and a bitter finish. Mostly sweet beer, but nice. Not the typical IPA, my first thought was Begium meets schwarzbier. (060823)

[Draught at Hong Kong Brew House, Lan Kwai Fong] Golden colour, minimal head. Evident grainy malt aroma. Fairly sweet with clean but soft mouthfeel. Grassy hops are obvious. Medium bodied with low bitterness. A well balanced, drinkable lager.

[Draught at Hong Kong Brew House, Lan Kwai Fong] Dark brown with minimal head. Sweet and light bodied with mellow mouthfeel. Pleasant coffee dominates together with pine needles. The near watery body gives way to a light salty metallic bitterness. Highly undeveloped malt character.

(Bottle 33 cl) Very dark, clear amber - almost brown - with a huge, creamy, brownish head that leaves big lumps on the side of my glass as it dissipates. Pleasant, roasted aroma. Body is very dry with notes of roasted malt and caramel. A bit flat in the mouth. Wee touch of (aroma)hops in the finish, with a slightly metallic edge. No way an IPA, more like an American Dark Lager. But pleasant and highly drinkable. 241205

Bottle. Metallic, sweet hop aroma. Dark brown colour, some soy... Unstable head. Flavour is of iron. Loads of iron. Very unpleasant. I hope this contract brewed beer (from Haus der 131 Biere) is nothing like the original. IPA? No. Drainpour? YESSIR!

A red-brown beer with a light brown head. The aroma is acidic with notes of nuts and brown sugar, while the flavor is slightly acidic and with notes of caramel and nuts. This is definately not an IPA.

Bottled (BB 11/2005)
Not IPA. Very dark ruby, small brownish head. Aroma is very grassy, rubbery tones, slightly skunked. Dunkel-like mouthfeel. Slightly roasted, a bit sweet, toffeeish palate.

An orange beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet malty and so is the flavor, but the body is thin.
