Draught at All In Beerfest 2014. Nicely hazy deep brown, close to black with a beige head. Aroma is complex, with sweet malty tones, candy, caramel, honey, coffee, dates, figs, vanilla and raspberries. Taste is also big on malty flavours, honey, vanilla, chocolate, some coffee, brown sugar, raspberries, dark overriped fruit but at the same time touch of fresh berries, slight bitter finish, lightly warming alcohol. Big body, light to medium carbo, an almost chewable texture. Very good, I’d prefer a slight smaller body, that might even have executed even more complexity. Well done nontheless.

Draught at All In Beer Fest 2014. Clear golden liquid with a medium white head. Aroma of tangerine, fresh hops, bread and pine. Taste is dry and medium to high bitter with notes of citrus, pine and grapefruit. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Straight forward West Coast IPA. Good..

Nice creamy shortlasting head, looks a little diluted for being a dark beer. Aroma is slightly chemical; plastics, weeds, wet grass, minerals, sour coffee, wet grain, sour caramel. Taste is sour-ish mineraly, wet paper, burnt caramel, sour coffee, hay, minerals, wet harsh grain, plastics. Medium bitterness, harsh mineraly and watery mouthfeel. Drainpour.com!

(Keg at Ølhus Københvn, 20141114) The beer poured almost clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had malts, sweetness and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, liquorice, sweetness, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, hoppy and bitter. A decent but harsh dark hoppy ale.
