Half at Head of Steam Brum. Cloudy golden, thin off-white head, rings of lacing. Fruity aroma with Belgiany yeast. Taste favors the Neslon hops, fruity and floral, Belgian notes in the background. Subtle strength.

[33cl can from Beer52.] An opaque chocolate brown coloured pour with a tight beige head; aroma of berries and milk chocolate; sharp raspberry taste to start, then smooth and chocolatey; with some toasted oats to finish. A nice balance between the tart fruit and rich chocolate.

Keg at The Head of Steam, Hull. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light lemon, light cooked corn. Taste is more of the same. Clean finish. Nothing wrong with it!

Pretty underwhelming. Some fruitiness, kind of basic hop profile. Some tropical notes and some berry.

Part of the Toast Companions Box, bought online from Toast Ale. Pours dirty berry red towards amber with no head. Aroma: bread, sour red berries. Taste: light tart, more bread & sour red berries, light sweet. Light body with no carbonation. This is truly a strange style

Tight beige head left cover on a dark brown body. Retro 1970's confectionery aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a limp tingly back. Raspberry, toffee, malt, liquorice & bitter hopped tastes. Poor - Why put raspberry & fake flavours in? Just brew a decent Stout.
