Bottle at home shared with Laura. Opaque pitch black color, no head. Aroma is malts, soy sauce. Flavor is malts, dark malts, soy sauce heavily again. BA and maple? Well, probably BA cause it tastes very heavy, but it's way way way over the top and way too firm on the soy sauce so there is nothing left of whatever maple that may or may not have been in there. Severely unbalanced this one.

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een dun bruinig schuim. Het heeft een aroma van ahornsiroop. De smaak is vol gebrande mout, ahornsiroop en n in de afdronk Bourbon.

Bottle shared thanks to Thijs. Very dark brown, shirt lasting head. Earthy, raw cocoa, dates, tobacco, leather, sour berries, salmiak. Medium sweet, bitter and a bit more sour. Medium bodied with dry finish. Too sour, I don't like this much.

Thanks fonefan! Pitch black colour small brown head. Aroma is floral, some chocolaty, liquorice, mild alcohol and some mild dried fruity and quite big wooden tones which are almost a bit like tannins. Flavour is chocolate syrup, some alcohol sweetness, mild plum, some figs, and a bit spicy tones.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Black, small brown head. Aroma of coffee, treacle and caramel. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Treacle and coffee, licorice and salmiak. Warming really bitter finish.
