330ml bottle. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, small, creamy, fading, dark beige head. BA supported, roasty and chocolately, dark malty and dark caramel malty, minimally smoky and woody aroma, notes of dark chocolate, dark caramel, more Bourbon than Rum flavours, weak fruitiness with a touch of plum and blueberry, whiffs of burnt caramel, marmite. Taste is roasty, chocolately, peaty smoky, dark malty, slightly caramel malty with subtle residual sweetness, minimally woody and fruity, notes of dark chocolate, dark caramel, Bourbon, peat, smoked wood, a touch of treacle, blueberry, blackberry, plum, plum butter. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, soft carbonation. Mild, harmonious and balanced, thereby intense and insistent, robust, nevertheless full of subtleties; I get more Bourbon than Rum - excellent sipper.

Nose is dried fruits, rum barrel, spice, charr, dark malts, cacao nibs. Taste comprises dark malts, molasses, good rummy vibes, spice, toffee, hint of liquorice. Full bodied, oily mouthfeel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid stuff ... has aged gracefully.

Nose is dark malts, earthy fruit rinds, rum barrel, dates, fruit cake, toffee. Taste comprises stewed fruits, toffee, booze, figs, plums, touch medicinal, rum and raisin. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid kit.

Nose is stewed fruits, herb, pale malts, grains, grass. Taste comprises straw, light tangy fruit esters, bitter sweet, cereals, clove, herb, bread dough, lemon rind. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid for the style.

Nose is floral notes, mango flesh, light breads, grains, rather sweet and perfumed. Taste comprises soft malts, mango puree, bread dough, floral tones, tangerine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable affair.

Taste comprises soft malts, papaya, pineapple, mixed tropical fruit pulp, perfume. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy hop bitterness. Not bad if leaning a touch sweet.

Nose is sharp white grape must, funk, tangy green berries, dry rot, damp straw. Taste comprises grape must, vanilla oak dusting, damp hay, lemon rind, herb, green berry skins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light acidic tinge. Decent sour.
