75cl shared bottle at a friend’s house. Pours hazy orange with small lasting white head. Complex aromas reminding me of Greek white wine, some wine sourness on the tongue as aftertaste too. Caramel malt leaves characteristic sweetness but hops take over after all, summer fruits like grapes and apricot, heavily hoppy with the expected bitterness, pine, grass, citrus and, possibly, grapefruit, creamy mouthfeel, dry and bitter finish . A well balanced brew. Was excellently paired with fresh pasta and homemade tomato-basil sauce from homegrown vegetables (thanks for the dinner!) Probably the best Greek IPA I’ve had so far, also rare to find in Athens. A very refreshing stunning brew from a promising microbrewery that has set high standards for the local industry. Thumbs up, Santorini!

Bottle. Kind of stale hoppy aroma despite efforts made to brimg it fresh and good. In taste it is slightly medicinal, sharp. Otherwise hoppy, citrusy, zesty.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Clean, sweet burned caramel in the nose. Medium body, sweet caramel notes but very clean and balanced with a decent amount of hops so nothing ever gets cloying or anything. Actually a very well made Amber. 100815

# 2000. Gylden brun noe tåkete med lavt hvitt skum. Lukter epler, trevirke og noe mineralsk. Smaker lett syrlig, noe søtlig mot karamell. Toast. Lett kort bitterhet i avsluttningen.
