Misty deep brown. Tall beige head of low retention. Aroma: brown bred, rye malts, dried fruit. Light to medium body. Taste: light sweet and sour. Bready, lots of rye, dried fruit. Lemon acid at finish. OK kvass.

bottle from a local Russian supermarket. Clear straw-golden colour with a quickly disappearing tall, fluffy white head.Grainy-sourish nose. Light-bodied, shy malty base, not very sweet, soem grassy-herbal hops, slightly Saazy, but quite nice. Pleasantly bitter hop flavours in the finish. A rather decent beer.

17.01.2018 -- 0.5l bottle in moscow. pours a deep reddish mahogany with a steady pink head. aroma of cherry syrup. flavour of malts and cherry syrup. drinkable, but not great. has nothing to do with the sour kriek etc.

27.12.2018 -- 0.5l bottle from a supermarket in moscow, 25.07.2018-21.04.2019. pours a clear deep chestnut with almost no head. aroma of coffee, roast. flavour of caramel, nuts, hay. light body. kind of like a mediocre dunkel.

0.5l bottle from pyatnitsa in moscow, as "haselhoff american pale ale". pours a clear amber with a small head. aroma of caramel, slight fruity and citrusy hops, metallic notes. flavour of caramel malts, hay, slight citrusy hops. more like a hoppier lager. better than an average pale lager, but not too pleasant.

At a tasting, thanks, medium stable creamy head, clear very dark red to brown color, aroma of roasted peanuts and caramel, flavor of caramel and jam, quite bland, not really good or interesting.

At a tasting, thanks, small bubbly head, clear palish yellow color, malty grainy aroma, fruity malty honey flavor, lightish sourness, very light bitterness. Just drinkable.
