Keg at the Porterhouse, Parliament Street Dublin, 05/11/23. Deep reddish amber with a good sized beige head. Nose is brown bread, dried fruits, herb, toffee. Taste comprises caramel, grains, light red berry notes, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid for the style.

Ikke helt edruelige notater fra en hyggelig kveld på Våland, med Johan og Egil. etter en snublende start (Nøison Steam Beer) er vi i gang med en ny 0,44 boks, også denne fra VP Herbarium: brunsvart med fløyelsmykt cremeskum som følger oss hele veien. Deilig aroma av mørkrøstede malter, nybrent kaffe, mørke chokolader og et hint av røykmalt. Litt lactose? Mild bitterhet, halvtørr og creamy. Eminent balansert, slank og lettdrikkelig, så her er der bare smilefjes rundt bordet.
