Bottle from the Systembolaget, Karlstad. Pours clear light golden with a small white head. The usual industrial pale lager - pretty tasteless, but nothing wrong with it. Expected the worst, but this was better than expected.

Bottle from Beershine. Dark brown with a head that died quickly. Sweet stout aroma of brewer’s caramel and I guess lactose. Very sweet, light-bodied stout with lactose. Caramel-malta notes but no real roast.

I got a bottle of this from total wine and more in florida. My bottle says guyana and banks on it. and is labeled as banks carribian lager. Pale yellow from a bottle. Has a little bit of that veggie near skunk cabbage aroma. First taste is weird citrus and veggie skunk carries over to the taste. Has much more bitterness than expected for a pale lager, almost comes across like a well hopped ale. Decent co2. Has good sizzle on the palate. Yes, a little more bitter than I expected but not in a pilsner kind of way, more ale-ish. Same on finish. Yes rather rude for a lager lover.

355ml bottle, as Banks Caribbean Lager, 4.7% abv, kindly shared by Finn. Clear, yellow-gold body, loose white head, minimal lacing. Modest aroma of corn and dusty hops. Sweet citric sweet taste plus hints of paper and malts. Standard minus. About drinkable (Skibotn session, 17.09.2011).

Bottle courtesy of yespr, thank you sir! Bright golden color, small white head, moderate lacing. Aroma of white pepper and wet cardboard. Taste is burnt cardboard and charcoal. Should not be ingested by humans. 1.2 Second try was from a can in Antigua. Still unexciting but no off flavors.

Bottle. A clear one, pale golden in color and with a white head. Weak, malty and fruity nose with some faint cardboardy hints. Not much flavor either, obviously brewed to be drank cold and to quench the thirst. Rather thin on the palate, dry and too carbonated. Some bitterness towards the end. Overall, drinkable, but boring. 110820
