Draught at Barley Cargo, smallish creamy head, opaque coal black colour, Cinamon, milk chocolate, cocoa, earthy notes, lactose, sweetness, some vanila coming through and a touch of almonds, lightish sweetness that becomes stronger, intense but quite pleasant. Highly enjoyable and luxurious porter.

33cl bottle: BB 10th March 2023. Drank on my balcony in the holiday studio, Nidri on 5th October 2023. Lovely bright and clean red body, fast fading beige head. Malty and sweet, caramel notes in both the aroma and taste really stand out. Nice!

33cl bottle: BB 1st March 2023. Drank on 5th October 2022, holiday studio in Nidri. Light hazy body, white head. Easy drinking IPA with a good hoppy front on a solid malty base, some citrus and piney flavours come through nicely.

33cl bottle; BB 10th May 2023. Drank on the balcony of our holiday studio in Nidri on 5th October 2022. Light cloudy pour, golden with a white head. Citrus front to the aroma and taste, lemons mostly. Fairly bitter but OK.

Bottle in the flat. Pours black, nose is chocolate, coffee, roasted, vanilla, taste is similar, meaty, a little thin.
