A hazy red beer with a fine white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of coriander, fruit, yeast, and honey. The flavor is nicely sweet - just on the edge to being too sweet, and it contains notes of fruit - especially melon - malt, and yeast. The alcohol runs over the tongue.

This is a new Belgian beer, from a new brewery available at the Bornem Beerfestival (I got a sample from the brewer of the Angerik). As the name of the brewery and the beer indicates, this is a green beer, not just a green shine, but a green beer (yes, it is quite astonishing when you first take a glimpse of it).It has a huge white head, with good lace. Hoppy and yeasty aromas and a lightly bitter initial flavour. Tastes like a strong pilsener.

Skortila had left a bottom of his bottle stand untouched in his room for one night, unnoticed. So i had the chance to taste this beer after it was 'aged' for 1 night at roomtemperature. I don't know if it affected the beer. Appearance was good. Aroma of candy sugar and rye, malty. Taste is sweet malts. Dry palate.

(Brewed by Van Steenberge, after Proefbrouwerij batches became too small, yes.) Pale amber to old gold; good yellowish head, stable and lacey. Very "beery" nose, caramel, peppery, Szechuan pepper, lactic, alcohol. Surprisingly alcholic taste. Very dry with candi sugar, high attenuation, roaste malts, and certain meat-like saltiness in the palate. Alcoholburn, dry, well-bodied. "Guaranteed without additives or conservation agents" OK - fair enough. "Unique beer" Oh yeah? Thirteen in a dozen more likely.

Bottled. Dark ruby and very lively with rich firm head. Fruity and strikingly vinous and a vague hint of lactic acid. Medium bodied with balanced sweetnes and light, sparkling mouthfeel. Some toffee and a lot of dry, well wooded red wine in the finish. Deliciously flavourful.

Bottled. Deep golden and clear with no head. Caramel, vanilla and estery bubblegum aroma. Sweet and clean with hard mouthfeel and a resiny, spicy finish.

Cloudy golden color. Small particles floating. Firm lacing. Spicy aroma. Taste is also spicy, but with small sourness. Bit dry sour palate. Easy to drink, nice blonde but nothing special.
