Lys rødorange med hvitt skum. Lukter bar og malt. Bringebær kommer fram i smaken. Medium pluss med kullsyre. Lett syrlig avslutning.

From bottle at MB2 04.01.23. Dark brown. Diminishing pale brown head. Aroma and taste of black malt, ginger, cloves, liquorice and Jägermeister. Waterish mouthfeel. Not great.

Solsletta 181222. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is yeast, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is yeast, sugar, roasted malt, spices, dried fruits, bread, citrus, cloves, cinnamon, licorice. Nice beer.

Bottle. An unclear brown beer with a small beige head. The aroma is roasted and quite spiced, with dark dried fruit and a bready touch. Some citrus zest too. Cloves, cinnamon, licorice. It's medium bodied and rather softly carbonated, quite dry, with a very soft bitterness. Spices, caramel, dark bread and dark dried fruit in the flavor. Medium length finish. Lacks a bit on body and carbonation this one, but it's a quite pleasant spiced beer anyway. 221218

330ml bottle picked up at Vinmonopolet Oslo City. A bubbly fawn-coloured head over an almost black body, fair lacing. Inviting aromas of caramel-chocolate, hints of dark fruits. Fine balanced taste of prunes, caramel, and chocolate joined by impacts of coffee towards a lingering ending, slightly roasted. Yuletide feel. Well made. (Hotel room, Larvik 25.11.2022).

0,33 litre Bottle, from a trade, at home. Golden with white head. Malts, hops, yeast, spices, herbs, sweetness, mild.

330 ml bottle, batch #011, as K.Aa.B. Sylfiden Brut IPA, from Bunnpris Sauda. ABV is 4.7%. Moderately hazy pale golden colour, large white head. Strong sweetish aroma of candy, newmown grass, sweet maize and rice pudding, hints of yellow stonefruits. Slightly citric and fizzy mouthfeel. Medium dry flavour, grainy notes, herbal hops, fairly distinct bitterness in the finish. Not a bad beer, but hardly one to remember.

330 ml stubby bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.8%. Hazy deep brown colour, moderate off-white to beige head, poor retention. Aroma of pale chocolate malts, thin coffee, chocolate and a hint of orange zest, but less than expected. Smooth mouthfeel. Flavour with the same elements as the aroma, not too sweet, the orange notes are more distinct now, moderate bittering hops in the finish. Not bad, but could have been better.
