(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 28 Oct 2023) Amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty, slightly smoky nose with notes of caramel, prunes, raisins and toast. Malty, slightly smoky taste with caramel, bread, raisins, figs and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, with a fairly gentle smoke touch. Nice one.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Hazy golden colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some nectary and mild sweet malty tones with some passion fruit and a bit pine. Flavour is fruity, caramelly, some mild toasted, toffeeish and a bit herbal elements.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Kontula, 20240127) The beer poured deep mahogany coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had earth, malts, toffee and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were toffee, toasted malts, caramel, earth and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A nice malty brew with toasted notes.

Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light light bitter with a average to long duration, dried fruit, Belgian yeast, fruity yeast - sweet yeast, candy, caramel, sweet malt.
