Bottle: A bit hazy, chestnut-amber coloured, big rocky persistent beige head; dark-malty and roasty nose with a solid fruity background; moderate dry bitter and light sweet flavour, astonishingly light bodied for a beer of 4.8% ABV; traces of chocolate and toasted malt in the long bitter-sweet finish. A goody........

On tap at the Hinds Head, Bray, Berkshire, 08-08-09 on leg seven of the Thames Tipple. After the initial shock of paying £4.20 a pint I sat down to rate this. Pours mid-gold with a white head. Some cereal on the nose, tangy and fruity with bitterness and touch sweet but not bad. A6 A3 F6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Thanks Phil. Slightly hazy dull straw. Some malt on the nose, with light glue notes. Very sweet, honeyish in its softness. Interesting. Very sweet, not heavy though, with a light almost junipery berry note.
