Can from Ondernulpuntvijf. Citrusy hop aroma with notes of lemon, tropical fruits, pineapple, citrust zest/peel. Medium bitter with a dry finish. Strong citrus hops, pretty good.

Blik thuis geprobeerd. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een volle bruinige schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout en chocolade. De smaak is vol gebrande mout, bitter, koffie en chocolade achtig.

Appearance is midnight black, with a huge brow. Foamy head. Aroma is chocolate, pecan, coffee, almond, milk chocolate, roast malt, cocoa. Taste is chocolate, coffee, toasty malt, nutty notes, smooth and chocolatey, roasty malty finish with hop bitterness. Not really any maple coming through. Fluffy mouthfeel.

Black with a wispy beige head. Luxurious dark fruits, pudding, fruitcake spices, raisin, plum, porto, dried fruit, chocolate, sticky sweet caramel. Full, slick body. Finish is long with spice, sticky sweet malts, and sweet chocolate. While rather sweet overall it avoids the fake, cloying sweetness some beers get. Big and bold and well done.
