We are a new nano brewery that specialises in strong and European styles of beer. We have a passion for craft beer and strive to produce the best beer possible. The name of our brewery and all of our beers are named after myths, legends and folklore. With our love of mythology in mind, Tartarus was born. #DrinksOfLegend

Can from Beer in a Box. Strong and roasty with notes of orange, dark chocolate, firm roast, "sinassnippers", some booze. Strong bittersweet flavour, good body. Bit sharp but nice bitter roast.

Vibrant citrusy and tropical fruity goodness with notes of tangerine and mango, papaya, passionfruit, nice and juicy, sweet pale malty backing, solid hoppy close. Tasty and refreshing.

330ml can. Pours jet black with a small head. Aroma is Christmas cake spice, ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon. Touch of teacle. Taste has liquorice, ginger and nutmeg throughout. Touch of tar and roast on the finish. Some burnt treacle.

On tap at The Star & Garter, Bromley. Nose is liquorice toffee, dark chocolate, caramel, raisin, cocoa. Taste is cookie dough, chocolate, caramel, toffee. Quite nutty. Malty sweet with a lightly bitter edge.

330ml can. Pours jet black with a medium head. Aroma is bitter beefy roast, dark chocolate, liquorice and vanilla. Taste has vanilla and dark chocolate throughout, with marzipan on the finish. Some spicy booze.

Cask at Kings Head, Bristol. Pours black with tan foam. Chocolate, coffee, nuts, praline. lactose. Big pastry vibes, plenty sweet. Mildly synthetic but just about OK. Medium+ body with soft carbonation. Not really my thing but nicely done
