330ml can. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of vanilla, chocolate liqueur, coffee. Taste is extremely sweet, lots of chocolate liqueur character, creamy vanilla, rich coffee and roast malt, caramel, toffee. Full bodied, smooth, some alcohol warmth. Very rich and sweet, kind of cloying - not enough coffee/roast malt present, but very tasty.

26th October 2025
Mildly hazy amber beer, slightly dirty in colour, decent bubbly cream colour head. Light smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Caramel malts, smooth with some malt cream. A boozy very ripe white wine vibe on the back end. Light smooth finish. Hmmm! Not very saison and the dominant flavour here is caramel malts and aged wine. Nice experiment but, for me anyway, it hasn't really delivered a memorable brew

Thursday 16th October 2025. Cobweb tasting session with four friends, almost every beer being very old or just 'out of date' (mostly very old). My place being the venue. Cheers Mike, this 440ml can was in date (BB 13th Feb 2027), obviously a mistake! Anyway it was very pleasant, black bodied, tanned crown on each pour, rich and heavy, good depth of flavour with sweet biscuits and chocolate to the fore.
