On tap at Patrick's. Nice coffee flavor, yet with a bit much coffee bitterness. Pleasant vanilla level, which is quite low, not much trace of the lactose, which is just fine, and there's a nice touch of roasted malts and dark chocolate too. A bit more carbonation and it would have been very nice. 747314 260328

A 440 ml can brought on a recent Norway trip by our British friends. Very nice of them to transport this beer, I would never see it otherwise. We sampled it in the ship's bar area as we did the beers I brought. Poured almost entirely black with a strong head of dark tan foam. It smelled of raisins, grain, plums and malt. The drink delivered black plums, chocolate, toasted malts, some berries, dark bread, a spot of hops and caramel. Rather nice.
