Tradiční pivovar v Rakovníku
-one of the few independent traditional breweries in the Czech republic
-brews all its beers according to the traditional double-mashed technology which means that the beer is fermented in open vats and lagered in horizontal lagering tanks for 40-60 days
-only uses the highest quality raw materials of Czech origin, namely Czech malts, Saaz hops and water from its own deep wells, to make the beer
-has the right to mark its products with the protected geographical indication Czech beer

Bottle, 4.5%. Buttery aroma. Almost black colour. Roasted, caramelly aroma. Medium bitterness. Roasted aftertaste. A bit watery, but that is OK for the style.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark copper brown with shades of ruby and airy light tan head. Clear, sweet aroma of malt and caramel, with buttery notes. Sweetish, malty flavour, with notes of caramel and butter. Bitter, nutty aftertaste. OK but nothing particularly impressive.

50 cl can. Pours clear ans golden yellow with a thick and white head. Aroma is grassy and light eggy. Toasted malty, grassy and light straw. Medium dry and toasted malty finish. Ends bitter and medium dry.

Can @ yespr. Pours a pale golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy spicy weak bready aroma. Fruity malty grainy spicy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy caramel finish.

Bottle. Pours clear dark copper brown with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with hoppy notes and a touch of fruit. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with sweetish, malty touches and caramel notes. Rather thin body. Bitter finish with mild sourish touches. Acceptable, drinkable, appreciable, but nothing really impressive.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with abundant and stable white head. Clear aroma of hops and yeast, with a subtle note of paper. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with regular estery nites and touches of malt. Bitter and paperlike finish. Very well-balanced. Thin to medium mouthfeel. A decent Svetly Lezak.

50 cL can. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and caramelish to breadish. Vague mouldy. toasted malty and light breadish. Bitter and dry malty finish. Vague metallic.
