(Draught at Prvni Pivni Tramway, Prague, 20 July 2013) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with toast, rye bread and fresh grass. Malty, slightly roasted taste with notes of toast, orange, apricots and a fresh grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle. Deep gold with a white head. Aroma is bready and earthy. Light bodied, modest bitterness. Bread, hints of fruit and sourness, some herbs. Would have liked just a tad more bitterness, but highly drinkable with some nice malt.

(Draught at Kulovy Blesk, Prague, 20 July 2013) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with honey, caramel, orange and apricots. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, honey, apricots and a fairly sweet finish with a mild bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Quite nice.

Przecietne piwo coc o zdecydowanym chmielnym smakiem i aromatem, finisz naprawde bardzo chmielny. Ale nie moglem doszukac sie czegos co by bylo jakas pewna rownowaga. Kolor dosc ciemny jak na Svetly Lezak, taki rdzawo herbaciany. piana byla spora i wysoka, a nawet trwala

Brown bottle with a bb of 5/14. Gold with a white head. Light floral aroma with mild spices. Thin body. Lightly honeyed hay, crisp finish with floral and spicy hops. Decent Czech gulping lager in good nick.

Bottle(@Pivovarský klub, Praha): Very deep golden with a small and persistent white head, moderate spicy Saazy nose; solid bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied and quite soft; dryish lingering Saazy-malty finish. Good, no doubt, but still a bit disappointing, because I expected more from a dry-hopped (za studena chmelený) -with the divine Saaz hops - Bohemian beer…
