Brilliant clarity to an amber body. Missing head. Dry grainy smell with underlying dark fruits. Caramel malty flavour with a bit of prunes. Bitter fruits in the aftermath. Clean tasting and quite nice towards the end of a long day at the beer festival in Copenhagen (16.05.2009).

Bottle. Pours a dark gold with a soapy looking head and aromas of skunky Saaz and not much else. Flavor is lousy... apple juice, old hops and grass.

Amber color; small creamy head. The aroma is too simple, a bit vegetables. The flavor is better, with medium sweet caramel, good body, good bitterness, some alcohol at the end. Solid, but not exciting.

Bottle. (555) A clear, dark golden beer with a small, off-white head. Sweetish nose with some dried fruits, fine hops and caramel. Nice, sweet and malty flavor with accurate hopping. Full-bodied and nicely carbonated. Sweet, pleasantly bitter finish. Well hidden alcohol. A quite nice one, without being lovely. Dangerously drinkable, and well-tasting. (090430)
