Malzig-herber Geruch. Prickelnder, schwer malziger Antrunk, der durch den Alkoholeinfluss sehr schwer wirkt. Auch im Mittelteil bleibt das Bier schwerfällig, der Alkoholeinfluss ist deutlich erkennbar. Eine herb-saure Note mischt sich hier ein, wirkt aber unpassend neben dem schwerfälligen Aroma. Big, fluffy white head, leaving shards of lace over very pale golden beer. Metallic & grrassy nose, suggestion of hops and a lot of sulphur (not DMS). Metallic & sulphur returning, flavour as from decaying hay, malt drowned under the indifferent bitterness. Very carbonated MF, giving it a mineral water quality, ending on both sharp metallic and alkaline bitterness. In the aftertaste, a tinge of fish frying oil, the only apparent sweetness. Discount lager (?Pils?!!) in one of its uglier forms. Haacht - or Jupiler...

Bottled. Yellow colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is yeasty, fruity and slightly metallic. Also some alcohol. Flavour is yeast, toffee, fruits and some alcohol. Not very exciting, but still drinkable and quite clean.

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized bubbly beige head. Aroma is bigtime yeast, metal and peas. Some slight fruity notes, Flavour is skunky hops, some sweet fruits and overall quite sweet notes. Unbalanced and not too pleasant.

Bottled. Copperish amber colour with mediumsized beige head. Lots of lacing. Aroma is caramelly malts with some slight smoked snotes. Flavour is acidic fruits, slightly roasted malts and some toffeeish hints. A bit watery and not too interesting.

(33cl bottle, traded with DerDoppelbock) Hazy, golden colour with big yeast chunks swimming around and a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet and perfumed malty nose with citrus and lemon peel. Sweet malty taste, again a bit perfumed (violets?) with light fruity notes; lively carbonated mouthfeel, medium body; malt-accented, slightly yeasty and bitter finish.

Bottled. Orange colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is glue, malts and some yeast. Flavour is very much fruits, yeast and some hops. Also quite wellspiced.

Amber and tall head. It has the fruity aroma of a tripel, but clear looks like a dubbel. Flavor is sweet fruit and light malt with a dry, salthy finish. Good palate. Why is this rated so low?

Das Bier wird sehr flach gehalten, mit den Zutaten scheint sparsam umgegangen zu sein. So fällt nach dem ersten Schluck erst einmal der Nachgeschmack auf, der mit bitteren und metallernen Tönen der aromatischste ist. Die minimale Herbe im Mittelteil ist geradezu ein Witz.
