Draft at The Hague beer festival. Dark brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of light roast, overripe dark fruit, oak, fudge, chocolate and caramel. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at NBPF. Hazy pale straw with white head. Soft dough, milk, lemon, coriander, dust, lots of spices and herbs. Medium sweet and light bitter. Under medium bodied.

Tap at NBPF. Hazy straw with white head. Spicy yeast, loads of sugar and malt syrup, some herbs and grass but mostly super sugary. Milk and yeast. Very sweet and light bitter. Almost full bodied with slick feel. Way too sweet.

Tap @ UBF 2016, small sample. Dark color, short frothy head. Bit spicy, bit port, slight roast. Bit spicy in taste, some port sweetness. Again, more a belgian strong ale.

Sample from tap @ Utrechts Brouwers Fesitval 2016, with Zlotta, Caesar, Benzai & ShivanDragon. Dark color, not quite black. Off white head. Aroma’s: moderate sweet, sweet fruit, light port. Retronasal there’s oak, wood, fruit, light port. Flavor is moderate to fuul sweet, fruity, woody. Medium bodied. Loing finish with wood, warming. Surprisingly good.
