Bottle. A clear, brown beer with a tan head of moderate to small size. Sweet, sugary maltyness on the nose, dried fruits blending in. The flavor is sweet and malty, with cellar and dried fruits, some malt extract as well. Thin and sticky mouthfeel. Sweet finish. A rather unusual beer in a way, but quite pleasant for it’s ABV-range and style. 090925

330 ml bottle (2,5% at my bottle). Clear, deep reddish brown body with a big, dense beige head. Aroma is heavy malt and some light burnt brown sugar. Flavor is mostly sweet malt and almost no bitterness. Sticky and almost undrinkable.

0.33L bottle, small thin head, clear light yellow colour, strange medicinal nose with some light perfumy notes. Some malty sweetness with a coarse bitterness, light bodied with a very short bitter aftertaste. Not really good.

bottle. Clear dark brown colour, beige head. Sweet and malty, very very shy hops in the finish. Very sweet but still nice.

30 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a fully gone head within a few seconds. Sweet malty aroma. Sweet malty flavoured with a solid bitterness and minor metallic note coming through. Ends bitter and dry, vague yet persisting metallic note.

Light and refreshing pils, on tap from our hotel close to Keukenhof. Light golden color aroma is weak, light hops and sourness. Tastes light and crisp, good carbonation and light bitterness. A bit watered down but was tasty with our meal.

On tap at Cafe Tetra somewhere in Amsterdam.
Pale golden coloured, small white head, bready nose. Not much of taste here, light malty, weak hoppy and bready with salty notes in the short rather bitter finish. Boring pils.

Bottle. Golden beer with a strong head. The aroma is sweet, yeasty and dry at the finish. The flavour is chemically and yeasty dry. Overall a fairly poor beer.

Draught, Cafe, Amsterdam. Took a punt on this as there was nothing else of interest on offer. Pretty bog standard golden pils, a bit watery but not the worst.
