16 oz draft pour at Mad Fox. Visually, this beer was a clear ruby red color with a light pink head. Aroma was light cherries, funky yeast notes. Light sweetness. Touch of cherry skins. I totally expected that medicinal cherry syrup taste but was pleasantly surprised to find that the cherries actually still allow the saison to shine through. Very tasty.

16 oz cask pour at Mad Fox. Poured a creamy dark brown color, lots of tiny bubbles rolling up to a very delicious looking creamy head on top. Aroma was a lot of roasted malts, light oak notes, whiskey. Dark chocolate cake, roasted coffee, bakers chocolate finish. Very smooth, liked how it incorporated the whiskey notes but wasnβt overpowering in the ABV arena. Quite sessionable.
