Pint looks right, near opaque brown black with a big cap of beige head. Nose has malt and nuts and oats, cocoa. Flavor is the same. Leans heavy on caramel and cocoa, and it dries out at the end. Pleasant. 8 7 6.5 7 7

Pint at the brewery pours a murky orange, thin white head. Huge sugary nose, sweet honey and mango, some dank hop too, citrus, sweet herbs, over ripe mango. Lots of sugar in the mouth, mostly honey but some underattenuated malt too, over ripe mango and canned peach. Very sweet, boozy.

Nicely made. Opaque black with some creamy off white head. Noaenhas malt and toast, carob, definitely a German feel. Flavors follow. Brown bread. Creamy finish, mostly dry. Well made.

Pint at the brewery pours a clear, a ring of white head. Nose is herbal, some malt but a bit sugary. Flavor has some off brand butterscotch, malt, herbs. Ricola kinda. Off dry finish. A little peppery which helps.

Pint at the brewery, clear burnt gold with some sticky white head. Nose has red berries and pine, ruby grapefruit, light honey, soap. Flavor is sweet with malt and honey, piney and soapy, a little mango lurks. Feels like an off dry West Coast. Medium bodied, sticky, lightly bitter finish.
