Consumed at the source. Poured a very light, though vibrant, almost light neon yellow color with a fizzy white head. Aroma is some light crisp grains, touch of light hops. Flavor is almost creamy malts with nice citrus notes from the hops. A lot more refreshing than the abv conveys. This should be refreshing when the summer comes along.

Draft pour at Nationals Park for a baseball game. Poured a clear orange-copper color with a medium sized creamy white head. Aroma was light toasted malts, light hops. Flavor was notes of sweet malts, light hop notes. Clean, easy to drink - far better than the over-carbonated macro swill that is available on adjacent taps. I’ll be getting this one next time I’m at the stadium.

Everybody seems to be making these around here and none of then are very exciting. Like IPAs for macro beer drinkers. Pours cloudy blonde with OK head and lacing. Some hops and booze in aroma. Light bitter finish. Taster at brewery.

Nice rye pale ale that really highlights the barley well with a good citrus hop frame. Pours maroon with OK head and lacing. Average carbonation with medium consostency . slick texture. Bitter finish. Tap at brewery.

Not bad for style. The thing about steaming like this is the barley doesn’t come out so much. Pours yellowy orange with ok head and lacing. Some crisp finish. Tap at Brixton.

Bottle thanks to nimbleprop, DC tick! Pours a clear deep amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of bread and grain with a bit of earthy and dry notes. Flavor has lots of bread and grain notes with a touch of Belgian yeast.

Jack Rose, DC: Pours light brown with a tannish head. Aroma is light fruitiness, some caramel, maybe some yeast, but this certainly did not scream saison at me. Taste is somewhat sweet. Some fruitiness. Dry bitterness. Meh. Not bad, but...
