Elysian Brewing Company operates three locations of which Elysian Capitol Hill is the main brewery and a full production brewery – Elysian Airport Way, in the Georgetown neighborhood (since 2011). Known both for classic styles and for flexibility and innovation, Elysian has brewed over 500 different recipes since opening in 1996. While Elysian’s brewers use a variety of unusual ingredients, they are seasonally notorious for their pumpkin beers. In 2015 Elysian joined AB InBevs' family of craft brands.

From a 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear mahogany with a tan head. Aromas of chocolate and oak. Flavors are sweet with some nice hop bit in the finish. Tasty.

12oz can from Hops & Bottles. Hazy golden pour, thin skin of head. Tropical fruit aroma, pineapple, citrus zesty. Taste dumbs it down a lot, almost to the point of blandness. And nothing at the finish, except for some tingly bitterness.

Can to glass. Pours amber and only slightly hazed with an off-white head. Restrained citrus aroma. Flavor is citrus with malt sweetness. Slight alcohol present. Pretty good beer.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass amber coloured, small head. Sweetish malty spicy aroma. Starts fine malty-spicy, sweetish, herbal notes, some sweets. Cinnamon notes. Finish well balanced, soft-spicy-malty. Interesting.
