Bottle thanks to Jorden. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is licorice, cocoa, cracker, dark fruit. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, dry, boozy finish, very good.

Tap, slight haze on pale. Smell of BO on grapefruit rinds. Initial green bitter grapefruit rind flavors that morphs into a bitter hop mess. Almost flat without any co2. Yes, this is bitter but it seems to be less bitter than many of the typical IPA I've been drinking lately.

Very hazy golden and straw coloured body with a thick three to four centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat for a while and is microfoamed. Aroma of funky soaps and citrus with lemons, wheat [duh], coriander seed, curacao and some light grass noticeable along with some subtle caster sugars. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong soapy and floral flavours show at first with some mild lemonade and radler-type like flavours and a soft wheat backbone that gives some depth and very herbal flavours with a light astringency. Aftertaste shows some sweetness with a light soapy bite, but the lemons finally show their potency and give some tartness to this one with a dry quality, especially at the end. Overall, a nice dry, very fragrant and floral beer with tons of lemons, lemonade and easy-drinking wheat malts, but a smooth beer for sure with moderate sweetness and a light complexity. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Wegman's in Leesburg, Virginia on 10-October-2020 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 01-December-2020.

Can from LCB. It pours near black with a a handsome tan head. The aroma is smooth roast, toasty, bitter - sweet, plenty of chocolate, coffee cake, some dark fruits, plum and fig rolls. The taste is initially smooth, dark roasted malts, toasty, bitter - sweet character, dark chocolate, unctuous, dark & dried fruits, plum, fig, date, peppery spice, charred notes, coffee and umami aspects. Finish is lingering rich roasted malt. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Flavourful and strikes and nice balance. Nice.
