18/5/2024. Bottle from Beerdome online store. Pours thick and black with a small creamy tan coloured head. Aroma is dark chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, bourbon, wood, cocoa. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Full bodied, smooth, very soft carbonation. Very good indeed.

Bottle shared at CBJ - cheers team. Pours black-brown with a small, creamy tan head. Medium to big sweet flavour with notes of dates, figs, booze, berries. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, some burnt toffee, earth, more dates and figs. Very tasty.

Bottleshare at Craft Beer Junction. Thanks to CBJ. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Airy dark malts, a good creamy dark chocolate sweetness. Savoury dark chocolate and big punchy bourbon barrel, rich in bourbon soaked fruits. Big and punchy.

375mL bottle, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of bourbon barrels, a touch of coconut, and some peanuts. Flavour is rich and complex, with bourbon barrels, dark sugars, coconut and peanuts. Cohesive and complex. Very good.

On tap at Croma, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is cohesive, with plenty of roasted peanut and hazelnut upfront, as well as burnt sugars and roast. Flavour is rich and cohesive, with plenty of peanuts and hazelnuts upfront, roasted malt, a touch of burnt sugars that are attenuated well. Low residual sweetness. This is excellent.

On tap at Croma, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is loaded with maple, clove and cinnamon upfront, with the peanuts further back. Flavour has a weird melange of clove, maple and cinnamon upfront, with the peanuts further back. A bit too sweet for my tastes but the weird adjuncts work well enough.

On tap at Croma, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is quite rich, with plenty of roast, burnt sugars, light coconut, maple, and alcohol. Flavour is much the same, with lots of burnt sugars, roast, light toasted coconut, and a hint of maple. Not too sweet but it is quite boozy. Very good.
