On tap at Stanley’s. Pours a near clear amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is maple forward with bread and a bit of sweet grain underlying. Flavor has bread up front with a growing maple and grains backing.

The Aromas are dust, tart berries and cream. Flavors are almost exactly like nose not overly tart, hint of sweet, low bitter. Fairly drinkable good body but not a lot of depth of character.

Sample at the Black Friday 04 tasting on 11/23/2018. Black pour with a thin tan head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Sparse patches of lacing. Aroma of malt, vanilla and coffee. Medium to full body with flavors of oaky vanilla, bourbon, roast coffee and malt. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and vanilla coffee aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Sampled from the tap at the First Draft Minneapolis. Pours black with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma combines vanilla and coffee with dark grains supporting and a hint of lime underlying. Flavor has earthy dark grains with a bit of vanilla and roasted malts supporting.

Can shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of foam that dissipates quickly. Citrusy, zesty orange aromas on the nose with some light grain as it warms. Thin and watery, with a bitter, pithy note on the palate.

Can shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a deep brown to black with a small bit of beige head that dissipates. Coffee forward nose with roasted malt, cacao nib and faint marshmallow as it warms. A lot of body and thickness for a 6% beer. More roasted malt and coffee with roasted coffee and 85% cacao on the finish. Very nice stout here.

Can shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a clear ruby red with a finger of rose pink colored foam that dissipates quickly. Raspberry foward nose with some light mineral and faint lemon notes. Dry and fruit-forward on the palate without being overly tart or sour. Grainy wheat notes and texture with more mineral-like water character. Easy drinking.
