Interesting. Pretty damn heavy, bit of alcohol. Seems sweet at first, but then got a big kick of bitterness. Lots of coffee and lots of vanilla, and some sharp bourbon thrown in as well. Lots of flavours, and it all turned out pretty nice!

On tap at First Draft. Pours a kinda murky, brown color, with a big, dense, frothy, tan head. The nose is walnut, vanilla, mild cherry, and butterscotch. Very sweet and malty. Medium body, with a creamy, lively mouthfeel. This is a fun and malty bock.

12 ounce can from Festival Foods Green Bay West, 9/12/19. Dark brown, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of toasted malt, grain, a bit of tin and plastic. Taste is grain, toast, nuts, some fruitiness. Thin. Could use some work. Out of character for these guys.

12oz can. Roasty, deep specialty malts. More roast than I associate with Black Ales, so this rests comfortably in the Stout category. Sweet and sugary, not a lot of finesse. Drinkable, not off, just heavy handed and amatuerish. Not that impressive.
