On tap at Statua Rota, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma has plenty of ginger, a touch of esters, and some earthiness. Flavour is estery and spicy, with lots of ginger, earthiness, and a touch of esters. Messy and uncoordinated. Poor.

On tap at Statua Rota, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma is very floral, with hibiscus notes, subdued earthy hops, not getting the chilis. Flavour is rather tart, with hibiscus, sourness, not much hops, not much chili. Something didn’t work right here—probably the base is just way off.

On tap at Statua Rota, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has some roast, earthiness, no notice of the blueberries. Flavour is dusty and earthy, with light roast, light blueberry acidity, and some coal-like notes on the finish. Nothing exactly wrong with it, just not dialed in all that well.

On tap at Statua Rota, pours a pale copper blonde with a small beige head. Aroma brings out piney hops, earthiness, and bready malt. Flavour is sour, with bittering earthy hops, lots of sourness… yeah, this is fucked. Very messed up.

On tap at Statua Rota, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of coriander, light citrus, and grapefruit. Flavour has plenty of ascorbic grapefruit, moderate coriander, and a soft wheaty base. Finishes tart, spicy and soft. It’s alright.

On tap at Statua Rota, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is full of herbaceous notes, vegetal character, and bready malt. Flavour is way too vegetal—something off about this. They’re going for a grassier character but we got boiled vegetables. Bad.
